Fayetteville, Tennessee

The weather has turned the roads to mud.  We are pushing on from Fayetteville toward Winchester, TN where I expect to receive additional supplies. This place is called the Plateau of the Barrens. There is scarcely any forage for the animals. Many of the trees are barked as high as the animals can eat.
